No-Bake Creamy Peanut Butter Pie

The temperature is hot outside so how about a nice cool easy dessert?  If you rank peanut butter, cream cheese and cool whipped topping high on your list of favorites, this pie is for you!

I love making this pie for get-togethers with friends, because you can make it ahead of time and store it in the freezer. It's so easy to make and it is always a hit at parties.

8 ounce container whipped topping
8 ounce block cream cheese
¾ cup sugar
⅓ cup milk
½ cup peanut butter
Graham cracker piecrust

Step 1: Start by sitting an 8 ounce block of cream cheese or low fat neufchatel cheese and a frozen 8 ounce container of cool whip on the kitchen counter to soften and thaw.

Step 2: When your cream cheese is soft, put it in your mixer to beat until fluffy then add ¾ cup sugar.

Step 3: After you have that mixture incorporated, add ½ cup peanut butter.

Step 4: Once everything is blended, beat in ⅓ cup milk.

Step 5: Fold in 8 ounces of thawed whipped topping and spread mixture into a pre-made graham cracker piecrust.

Step 6: Cover the pie and place pie in freezer to set up.

Step 7: When ready to serve, place the pie on counter a few minutes before serving.  If desired, you can top each piece of pie with a little chocolate syrup. (and why wouldn’t you?)

As always, please make certain none of your guests have a peanut allergy.
